Kelly Johnson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working towards her Registered Play Therapy credentials. Kelly has been supporting children, adolescents, and adults since 2014 in various in-home and outpatient settings. Kelly currently works with ages 4+ focusing on anxiety, depression, adjustment (life changes), relationship issues, stress, postpartum and parenting concerns. In her practice with adolescents and adults, Kelly utilizes a narrative, structural, and CBT approach in her work to discover a person’s story and work through their hardships. In her work with children Kelly utilizes non-directive play therapy.

Kelly strives to create an emotionally safe space that ensures a person’s ability to discover more about themselves in order to cultivate change. In her work with adults she enjoys focusing on major life changes, woman’s issues and the trials of parenthood. With her work in children she creates a safe, authentic place for children and their parents to address presenting concerns in order to create empowerment and cultivate lasting progress.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and her cats. As a mother to two young boys she attempts to participate in self care by binging the latest Netflix show, trying a new video game, or settling down with a good book.

Kelly is available for in-person services as well as telehealth services.
