Elizabeth adopts a systemic approach to therapy, recognizing the importance of understanding the culture, systems, and relationships that shape people’s lives and challenges. She is dedicated to creating a non-judgmental, warm, and supportive environment in therapy, offering empathy, collaboration, and authenticity. She strives to help clients identify their internal and external resilience and strengths, and she teaches tools to cope with stress and improve connections.
Elizabeth is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota who enjoys working with adults and seniors. She has worked in the mental health field for over 13 years and has a background in outpatient therapy, hospice, pet loss groups, and group therapy. Elizabeth has helped clients with a variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions.
Elizabeth utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
Elizabeth believes in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, making art, attending live music events, cooking, and traveling.
